Yso Import-export

Yahia Sayed Omar, owner and president of YSO Import-export establishede this organization in early 1969, and is considered one of the largest Private organizations in exporting Ethiopian Agricultural Products mainly Spices, Pules, Oilseeds, and Natural Produce.
With a location within the heart of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa and in the most strategic area of the business district-MERKATO the largest open-air market in Africa. The organization employs 29 permanent personel of managerial and secretarial levels, and during the harvest season, between 300-500 are employed on contract basis, supervised by strict quality control procdures to clean, pack and prepare quality commodities for the international market.
Our own cleaning facilities are located in the town of nazareth (99 kms south of Addis Ababa) on a land area over 10, 000 square metres. The processes of Mahine dressing and Hand-picking for quality graing purposes pass through special control phases with quality control systems being perfected increasingly.
